He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley, and they now have two children and four grandchildren.  Harold retired in 1987, after a twenty-five-year career in Finance and Service Operations, Contract Administration, Sales, and ultimately Manager of the South Atlantic region and Executive in Supply and Distribution with General Electric Company.

He was also Vice President and General Manager of the Cleveland Electric Company in Atlanta, Georgia.  Although he enjoyed his career in the corporate world, his greatest desire was to serve the Lord.
